The compatibility calculator combines data from two people — birth dates and names — and shows how popular numerological tradition describes their union: life path numbers of both partners, common contour zones of the Pythagorean Square, and a final verbal scale ranging from neutral to high.

How the calculator works
The calculator computes the life path number of each partner from the birth date: all date digits are summed and reduced to a single digit 1–9. For example, 15.08.1990 → 1+5+0+8+1+9+9+0 = 33. Master numbers 11, 22, and 33 are not reduced — in Pythagorean numerology they are considered independent values with amplified vibration. If any intermediate sum during calculation equals 13, 14, 16, or 19, the calculator flags a karmic debt — by tradition this marks areas that require attention. Each partner's name number is calculated using the Pythagorean letter-to-number table: each letter corresponds to a number 1–9, and the sum of codes is reduced the same way (Russian names are first transliterated using the passport scheme). By Cheiro, master numbers 11, 22, and 33 for pair comments are additionally reduced to the base: 11→2, 22→4, 33→6. If names are not provided, compatibility is calculated solely from the life path numbers.
The second axis is the common contour of the Pythagorean Square (psychomatrix by A. F. Alexandrov). All digits from both partners' birth dates and names are combined into a single 3×3 square: each digit lands in the corresponding cell, and the final fill reflects the shared potential of the union. The square's lines are horizontal (1-4-7, 2-5-8, 3-6-9), vertical (1-2-3, 4-5-6, 7-8-9), and diagonal (1-5-9, 3-5-7). Union zones are evaluated by the number of digits in each line: the more digits, the more strongly the zone is expressed — and the higher the compatibility for that aspect. An empty line means the zone is not supported by the partners' vibrations; one to two digits indicate weak expression; three or more indicate pronounced compatibility.
The final scale is verbal: high, medium, or neutral compatibility. High means a match in at least two key lines of the common contour; medium means individual lines support the union but there is no overall strong match; neutral means there is no ready-made zone match, and the union is built through conscious development of qualities. The method is a modern popular practice developed from the Pythagorean letter table and Alexandrov's work (psychomatrix). No direct historical continuity with the ancient Pythagorean school has been established. The calculator does not provide exact recipes: it is an entertainment and educational tool, not a scientific forecast.
