Two is associated with "Binah" (Understanding) on the Tree of Sefirot — the feminine, receptive principle. Binah is considered the first "realized" sefirah after Keter and Atikman; it gives rise to the forms and structures of the universe. Reduction to 2 = Moon (Chandra) in Jyotish. In traditional Jyotish, the Moon is the planet of emotions and intuition. In traditional Jyotish, numerology is a subdivision of horary astrology, so "38 = 2 = Chandra" is a modern school interpretation.
